Welcome to Starbase Medical One, designated by Admiral George Parel as MB001, the first of what will be many Starfleet Medical installations in deep, neutral space.

Starbase Medical One is a dangerous place, far outside the reach of the Federation Starfleet, where medical professionals and their families risk everything to save just one more life. It's a fulfilling, honorable place to serve one's Federation, protected only by an advanced fighter wing and the prototype USS Challenger, under the command of Medical One's XO.

Nicknamed Starbase "Safe heaven" Starbase Medical One provides a save place for patiënts, and their families and loved ones, from any race or side. Starbase Medical One is a nutrual base witch operate on the same believes as the Red Cross organisation did from the 19th to the 22nd centruries. MB1 makes no difference between a Human, Klingon or Romulan. Everyone is welcome here!

Starbase Medical One is a Play By E-Mail (PBEm) Sim that takes place in the late 24th century, roughly twenty years after the events depicted in Star Trek X.
